In the community, youth can anonymously share their personal experiences, offer inspiration and ask questions to connect, comfort and cheer each other on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a community co-created by youth, for youth. Kids Help Phone collaborated with hundreds of young people across Canada to build this platform and test it out. When you visit the community, you\u2019ll find:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support forums that everyone can browse 24\/7 (without an account)<\/li>\n<li>space to register for \/ log in to an account to post \/ reply on the moderated forums (you just need to add a nickname, email address and password)<\/li>\n<li>links to wellness resources and connections to other e-mental health services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<h2    id=\"what-can-i-post-and-read-on-the-support-forums\"\n    class=\"acf-block-heading \"\n    >\n    What can I post and read on the support forums?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>This space belongs to you, so you can write about anything on the forums in English or French. You can connect with other young people about whatever\u2019s on your mind. For example, you can post about school, racism, friends, religion, trauma, discrimination, hope, isolation and more. No topic is off limits in this community \u2014 if it\u2019s important to you, it\u2019s likely important to other youth in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2    id=\"can-i-use-the-support-forums\"\n    class=\"acf-block-heading \"\n    >\n    Can I use the support forums?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The Peer-to-Peer Community is open to young people across Canada. It\u2019s available to anyone with an Internet connection from coast to coast to coast. You can view the forums if you\u2019re outside of Canada, but you can only log in when you\u2019re in Canada. To get the support you need in the country you reside in, you can visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.childhelplineinternational.org\/child-helplines\/child-helpline-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Child Helpline International website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you\u2019re in the forums, you\u2019ll be talking to other youth. We want to let you know that the community is most applicable for people who are 12 to 26 years of age. Some individuals may find certain content on the platform hard to read about. If you need support at any time, or if you\u2019d like to find a resource that may be a better fit for you, you can check out our other&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/kidshelpphone.ca\/our-e-mental-health-services\/\">e-mental health services<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2    id=\"do-i-need-an-account\"\n    class=\"acf-block-heading \"\n    >\n    Do I need an account?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>You can read content on the support forums 24\/7 without an account. If you\u2019d like to write a post \/ reply, you need to make an account first. This is so that our moderators (trained youth staff) can help maintain a safe space by reading the posts \/ replies before they\u2019re published. To help protect your privacy, we\u2019ll log you out of your account automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity.
